This is to ensure that the state of economic infrastructure in all DFID countries is analysed in a consistent manner.

The summaries provide a strategic overview of status and key issues related to economic infrastructure  in 16 countries or regions, including: Drivers of inclusive economic growth & jobs, contributions and constraints of infrastructure and its operational efficiency and management;  Infrastructure-related drivers of inclusion, with a focus on empowerment and transformation; Government infrastructure objectives, plans and focus including any major ongoing or planned projects; Political influence in decision making, public investment management; Private sector/PPP engagement; the enabling environment; Summary of other donors’ activities; and exposure of infrastructure to climate risks and response.
